Hello, i bought an xperia U 2 weeks ago, after one week i trade that and some extra money to xperia arc S, tough i lost guaranty , it was not what others try to make xperia U to appear . First of all i hand not notice any diference in aplications like browers or games with that dual core from xperia U in compare with Arc's S procesor . The screen is small, you cant enjoy a game or movie like at xperia S , the batery is geting low mutch faster than xperia Arc S does, manny problems with RAM, not compatible with most of 3d games, like avatar for example, the volume in voice calls is weak , unatractive look . Now, dont get me wrong ... xperia Arc S have some weak points comparing with xperia U : first of all the phone gots heat up preety bad behind upper part of screen , mp3 spund quality is lower than xperia U , if you wanna .leasen music rather than play on your smarthphone buy xperia U , is cheaper .
what? the processor of the arc s is very lower than xperia u
The Xperia Arc S's GPU is not really good enough considering the price tag - it's screen and camera are good but - an Adreno 205!? The Xperia U uses a dual core 1GHz CPU and a Mali-400MP GPU (which in 9/10 cases beats an Adreno 220 let alone a 205), really the Xperia U's only downfall is a lack of card slot. Simply upping the Arc S's CPU frequency is not enough to compensate the relatively weak GPU considering that the S is £100 - £130 more expensive than the U.
1: The Xperia U doesn't have an FM Transmitter 2: The Xperia U has a dualcore processor, which is much faster than the singlecore in the Arc S even though the Arc S is clocked higher. 3: The Arc S has Assisted GPS+GLONASS, the U has to do with Assisted GPS, doesn't have GLONASS. GLONASS makes for much faster accurate positioning, especially in dense city areas. 4: Photo&Video too close to call? The Arc S has a much, much better camera with much more resolved detail. The U is fine for a cheap phone, but the Arc S has a really great camera that can easily stand up to it's own between even recent high-end phones.
xperia u is awesome
i really xperia u..
Yes it does, sorry about that we had a typo. It should be fixed up soon.
