which phone is best smartphone sony xperia s, sony xperia sl & samsung s2 ?????
xperia s better
The Xperia s has one of the best displays on the market (when released) due to it having sony's new bravia engine which in my opinion is much better then the s2.
hi guys. i really need help with deciding my next android device to buy . my first and most important use of the phone will be gaming . i would also like the phone to have a good battery life time so i can use more of it while im travelling .also i would like it to be fast and without lag. so first tell me which one of this 2 phones (xperia s/sl and sgs2) are better for the use that i want from a phone ? is sgs2 running all games on the market ? cuz i have been reading some guys on some forums whining about their sgs2 hanging in some games .. how ever that post was from 2011 and seems their adnroid version was 2.3 .. so now plz honestly and without no siding of any company or advocance give me a good advice and tell me which one of these 3 phones are better for me (sgs2 or xperia s or sl ) ? and also if u choose one of them over tell me the reasons that why should i choose one over another . also plz give me ur sugestions in a matter of priority list so i can choose better. by the way in my country xperia s and sl are abit cheaper than sgs2 . thanks and regards
Samsung galaxy s2 is the best xperia s suck i know it from personal experience
s3 sucks Kill it huge monster without brain
Samsung S2 1080p video is cropped and has a smaller FOV (field of view) compared to Xperia S. Buyers should be warned about this.
I recommend avoiding Samsung. Galaxy S2 does not capture a true 1080p video. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1085142 Xperia S has a better camera. Samsung camera module has some other issues too. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1443658
um very confused between them ! i cant make a decision cuz the difference in the cpu and the camera the comparison show the that xperia s is the winner but idk there is a palpable difference between 1.2 and 1.5 dual core while working on the phone and the quality of 12 m.p camera much better than 8 m.p camera ?! many ppl advised me to buy a quad-core processor phone so i thought about gs3 and one x but i found them more expensive so i cant afford one of them plz help me thx in advance
hi there, i am planning to buy a smartphone and is really confused between xperia s and galaxy s2. plz guide...
yeah 8mp is just fine
I like s2 simply because you a\have a great alternative. having a themes of xperia. and sms of iphone
Note that we are comparing here two different devices that have been launched in an year difference...so ofcourse technology has lot to offer in the newer xperia s...but retards who says xperia s s way better than s2 ,,think again...s2 is still the best smartphone in the world,,(for those who doesn't afford s3) n it was unbeatable for the past one year... Even the highly praised iphone 4s isnt as good as s2,,even though comparing both is absurd.. but i must tell that we should wait to see how xperia s suffers in fighting against its quadcore rivals this year...sony has a lot to develop in making their flagship devices... Lets see if it beats s2's records & be the best smartphone ever.. (never :P )
your smart! Not like other people. 12 mp camera? So?
Hey, how much did sony pay u. Or do u actually work for them? Nobody gives a damn of anything that comes out of ur blabbering mouth
you have also left out the fact the xperia s is playstation certified, it has 3d panorama techonology, it has a technology called fast charge, from 0% to 100% in 2 hours. the screen has the  best screen ppi of any phone out at the moment, even though you guys say the screen isnt as good as the s2. it has fast shot to take photos directly from standby within 2 seconds, it can record full 1080p hd videos, it has the mobile bravia screen engine, im not a sonty fanboy infact im getting the s3 on release day as i develop apps, but please if you are going to do comparisons make them accurate, the xperia s is a much better phone than the s2 and the s3 will blow them both away
Sorry that you feel that way. If you still have the Xperia S, we could use your help, our download speed is based on our <a href="http://geekaphone.com/mobile-speed-test">Mobile Speed Test</a>. Try it out on your phone and help us improve the Xperia S's stats.
have you even used the handsets ? i had the samsung s2 and got the xperia s, you state "The S II has an OLED screen which are generally very bright and vivid, the Xperia S doesn't" if you have seen both screeens in use, the xperia screen is not only brighter but more vivid and all around a much much much better screen, not to mention the 1080 full hd capabilities compared to the s2 which can only manage 720p with 3rd party software, second one  "The S II has very fast actual downloads, but the Xperia S is somewhat slow" with speedtest on the android market my xperia s hits 5.8 mbps and my s2 used to hit between 3-4 mbps, and you state the xperia is 0.82mbps, maybe in a place with little to no signal !!!!!! very poor comparisons, more of a technical comparison on paper than how both handests acuatlly perform in real life, very misleading !!
very good
 go on, hipster
i would go for the galaxy as i dont need a 12 mp camera... that's the biggest difference. i will actually compare the galaxy sII to the xperia arc s
