This is the second time I see "They both have cameras" in Photo & Video section. So if one has 8MP and the other has "only" 5MP, it doesn't really matter??? Wow, I thought the Megapixel does matter. Xperia Ray is clearly the winner for me :)
Ya , look above and you see the marks : 5.8/10 for Ray , and 5.7/10 for iPhone 4
You can type SMS in land scape mode and yes it has front facing cam with VGA quality
Nope , i saw a lot videos showing and a of users saying : Ray turned better after ICS .. but the important thing is you upgrade From sony
It has querty in both views, but also built in Swype which having used on my old
that really made me laugh, presumably you mean narrow rather than "long in the tooth"
You can remove bloatware anyway, you just need to root your phone... Otherwise, I am reverting to Gingerbread at the moment.
My Ray is OK, just occasional "not responding", whereby I need to take out the battery. i guess because I flash the ICS myself. When I repair it using Sony PC Companion, it seems to be slower. Then, I re-flash it back to the Nordic firmware.
I upgraded to ICS, and unlike many other I feel that ICS is smoother compared to GB. the best feature that I love is that I can "disable" some useless app.
I have been using Xperia Ray for 4 months. Photo is really clear. And the typing is ok for me (maybe 'cos I have small fingers).
and i advise you , do not upgrade to ics, your ray becomes very slow.
yes you can flash it with flashtool and the firmware gingerbread (its better than ics).
will Ray become unstable after upgrade OS to Android 4, can it still be downgrade to Android 2.3 after Android 4 is not good for Ray? pls answer.
You can change it to a QWERTY keypad
will the phone become unstable after upgrade to android 4 (ice cream sandwich)
Does Xperia lack a Querty Keypad? If that is the case, then I wouldn't want Xperia. I would find it difficult to key in lengthy SMS and email texts. Any feedback on this please?
Isn't it a bit long the experia ray

vivaz has TFT screen not RAY, RAY has LED
hi i am planning to buy sony ray fone..its the screen to small is typing sms is difficult.and does it have a front camera..what about the photo clearity??
the LED light on xperia doesn't flash. It only light up which is the cons.
Xperia ray is the winner... I have this second to my galaxy splus. The only thing miss out to xperia ray to make it 100% super like phone is the camera flash. They put instead is a flashlight.
the screen of ray is LED black lit not TFT
not fair! put also the price benchmarks and well see who's the best.
