I don't know if anyone has pointed this out yet, but the Motorola Photon also has Mobile Hotspot for up to 8 devices.
Sprints Samsung Epic 4g Touch has loss of 3g & 4g reception issues needing a reboot to get network reception, it's all over Sprint and web forums. Samsung needs to address this in a software update (ASAP) or the issue could hurt the products sales. Who knows if the ATT and T-Mobile versions will suffer the same problem. Being that Samsung has aquired the talented developer-owners-creators over at Cyanogenmod i am sure the issuses will be short lived and solved soon. It is a testament of Samsungs belief in a open source platform and the best developers in the field today that will keep there products at the forefront of the cell manufacturers. No doubt why Google pulled the trigger and dropped over 5.5 billion to assimilate Motorola. I'm taking a wild guess here but it's probably a "LOCK" the hottest, fastest drop dead badass phones will come from these two titans and Goggle-Motorola will not let itselwize.guyy007@gmail.comf be bested by Samsung. The coming Google phone Nexus Prime or whatever it's called is being built by Samsung and then that relationship is over and ends there because Google-Moto is coming with phones built for the Gods themselves and Zeus King of the Gods himself will be the first to have it and not Oprah.
Sprints Samsung Galaxy SII version called the Epic 4g Touch has a screen size of4.52 awesome size and just flat out looks incredible. I wont dis the photons screen sharper images with it's higher resolution but color depth and pop goes to Sammy. Thre build quality (feel to touch) goes to moto. Now Sammy out of the box quadrant score was 3396 vs Photons 1538 at more than double the quad score Sammy slapps Photon in the face and kicks dirt all over it. Simply no comparison for the Samsungs processor vs Tegra 2. Now how do i know this? Well i own both devices and im selling my photon on Ebay this week. Both are brand new although i seem to get radio failure on the Sammy which losses 3g all together and forces me to reeboot i need to check w Samsung and Other websites forums to see if its inherent.
wow thanks really helped i know im getting the galaxy s now
Yeah a thinner phone can break easier then a thicker build phone.
MHL uses the micro usb cord with an adaptor for HDMI output.
Thinner and lighter phone isn't really a good reason to buy over its counter-point. Unless we're talking about differences between that and a house brick. PS: Photon has 1.3M for front camera. Not 0.3M
Ok, just how much Samsung stock do these folks own? Please "Get off the Leg"
Hi Melky, more likely we just made a mistake, if you've noticed something wrong please let us know, we'd love to improve.
Hey Jonathan, if we got something wrong we'd love to fix it up - we don't yet track whether or not phones use MHL, I'm not familiar with it myself, whats it used for?
i second that, they dont even have a micro hdmi...its got MHL & it only supports 720p. full of shit post.
This is the most biased load of bullshit I've ever seen.
